Caffeine-Free Tea Guide: Rooibos, Herbal and Fruit Infusions

Caffeine-free tea guide

If you want a cup without caffeine, start with rooibos, herbal tea and fruit infusions. These are not true teas from the camellia sinensis plant, but they brew beautifully and offer a wide range of flavours.

Rooibos

Rooibos is naturally caffeine-free and known for its smooth body and soft sweetness. It works well plain, with milk, with fruit flavours or with spices. Try Rooibos Chocolate Chai, Rooibos Cherry or Rooibos Peach.

Herbal tea

Herbal infusions are made from leaves, flowers, herbs or botanicals. Peppermint is cool and clean, while Chamomile is soft and floral.

Fruit infusions

Fruit teas are bright, aromatic and often excellent over ice. Try Apple Cinnamon for a warmer cup or Strawberry Kiwi for something brighter.

How to brew caffeine-free infusions

Use boiling water and steep for 5-7 minutes. These blends are generally forgiving, so you can steep a little longer for a stronger cup.
