3-Ingredient Matcha Latte

A good matcha latte does not need to be complicated. This version uses Ceremonial Matcha, hot water and milk, with an optional touch of sweetness.

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon Ceremonial Matcha
  • 60 ml hot water, about 75-80°C
  • 200 ml warm milk or oat milk
  • Honey or maple syrup, optional

Method

  1. Sift matcha into a cup or bowl.
  2. Add hot water and whisk until smooth and lightly frothy.
  3. Warm your milk and pour it over the matcha.
  4. Sweeten to taste if you like.

Tea notes

Use water below boiling so the matcha stays smooth, green and balanced. Boiling water can make matcha taste harsh.
